The Newport Yacht Club’s clubhouse underwent a complete remodel and expansion in 2005 and is available for rentals for meetings, parties or weddings. The picturesque location offers stunning views of Lake Washington and the Club’s marina, making it an ideal location for any special occasion. Ample parking is available.
The second floor general-purpose room is approximately 1700 square feet and can accommodate approximately 150 people standing or in a classroom layout, or 100 if seated at round tables. The room opens onto a 900 square foot balcony overlooking the pool and Lake Washington. Restrooms are located on the first floor. Round or rectangular tables are available, as are folding chairs.
The rental space includes a full kitchen with a buffet serving counter, commercial refrigerator and freezer, sink, stove, oven, dishwasher and commercial coffee maker. Dishes and glassware are not provided.
The Clubhouse is fully wheelchair-accessible with ramps to the building entrance and an elevator serving the second floor.
Rentals are available to Active Resident and Active Associate Members of the Newport Yacht Club, to outside persons who are sponsored by a member, and to unsponsored renters. Renters are responsible for clean-up of the facility following their event and will be liable for any cleaning or damage charges in excess of the deposit.
In accordance with City of Bellevue noise ordinances, the Club and Bellevue Police enforce a 10:00 PM ending time for all music on weeknights and 11:00 PM on Friday and Saturday nights.
Phone reservations may be made with the Club Manager at 425-747-3291. Reservations are held for 48 hours, at which time the signed rental agreement, rental fee and damage deposit must be received by the Club to confirm the rental.
